July 4th Annual Steam Engine Parade

The Thomas - Mashburn Steam Engine Parade is an annual July 4th tradition in the City of Cumming. Thousands of people line the streets to celebrate Independence Day. With a wide variety of floats you’ll see local businesses, sports teams, dance academies, antique cars, tractors, steam engines and much more! The parade route travels south on Tribble Gap Road, starting at Forsyth Central High School and ending at the Cumming Fairgrounds.

Celebrate Independence Day with family and friends on Monday, July 4th! Cumming Fairgrounds will host a fun-filled evening from 4PM - 10PM, with a spectacular fireworks display to begin at 9:30PM. The celebration includes Music, Alcohol, Food and Vendors.

Join us for the Free Public Event that Starts tomorrow, Saturday, Nov. 15th from 10:00-5:00 pm. and includes Food Trucks, a FREE Kids' Zone, and Live Music- all proceeds raised from the People's Choice BBQ Event will go back to The Place, a local Cumming area charity.

The 2025 City of Cumming Christmas Parade will be held on Saturday, December 13, 2025. Parade start time is 5 p.m. with related road closures beginning at 4:30 p.m. The parade route is from Forsyth Central High School to the Cumming Fairgrounds via Tribble Gap/Castleberry Road.
